Much mentioned LP that is always a compliment to any funk collection (big or small). Not much is known about band leader Boobie Knight and his gang of groove. His 1972 major label debut is chock full Jimmy Castor-esque b-boy funk cuts like "Soul Ain't No New Thing," "King of the Real Good Guys", and the most notable track "Ego Tripping".

Shortly after this release, he moved over to the Brunswick label where he recruited Al Johnson to take over vocal duties.
