Wood Brass and Steel recorded this classic Disco Funk album in 1976 for All Platinum's Turbo label. 'Funkanova' is a much sampled underground classic Spacey Jazz-Funk/Disco club classic 5 mins of pure magic. 'Theme Song' is a slightly funkier Brassy groover and there is a great version of Ronnie Laws' 'Always There'. 'My Lady' and the more mid tempo 'My Darling Baby' are jazzy-soul vocal cuts in a similar vien to those recorded by Pleasure in the same era. This is a great album sounding even better as it is re-mastered from the original tapes for this first official Limited edition 180gm re-issue.
