"Taking It Too Far" has been one of the biggest modern soul room dancefloor records in the last few years. It 'leaked' out originally as an MP3 when incomplete, the delay in an actual release being taking care of business with regard the reference in the music to Lowrell's post disco hit "Mellow Mellow Right On". The song is now on Brooklyn's new album "Answer The Call" and a featured track on the Expansion compilation "Soul Togetherness 2012". Apollo winner Big Brooklyn Red is an incredible talent, his voice resonates Soulfulness, his style is contemporary but steeped in tradition. 'Taking it too Far' is a great upper mid tempo dancer but taken to another level with punchy horn riffs. The 7" is coupled with another strong cut from the album "So Inspired".
