Hector Bingert came from Uruguay and enriched Swedish jazz for many years, playing tenor and soprano sax and various rhythm instruments. The rhythms of his homeland were always present. For El Encuentro, he has teamed up with the American tenor/flautist Don Menza, and they are supported by a first class group: Kjell Öhman on electric piano, Janne Schaffer on guitar, Teddy Walter on bass and José Luis Perez on drums and percussion.
