Celebrating the unqiue musical heritge of South East London, Peckham Soul bring you our limited edition 'Peckham Blues Party' print.

'Blues Parties' were house parties started by the newly arrived West Indian community in the 50's and 60's. A place to hear music from home not heard in mainstream clubs, it was also guaranteed entry to a party at a time when the 'colour bar' meant that non-white faces were not always welcome. Taking our inspiration from Lithrograph printing of the 1960's, the design hopes to capture the spirit of these early parties
