'Nightcall' is the gloriously addictive slice of electronic pop that graced the recent movie 'drive.' Over a slowed-up, gated groove and evocative synths Kavinsky duets with CSS front woman Lovefoxx in what must be the faded glamour disco track of the year. Stylistically, all the boxes are checked but the songwriting here is paramount, making 'Nightcall', with it's whimsical pop chorus and sleazy vocoders the best 'italians do it better' 12" never to be released on that label. beautiful Gatefold sleeve featuring the original an extra track pacific coat highway plus mixes from Jackson and Dustin n' Guyen.
