Full Time Hobby present the latest full length from the Brisbane-based indie rockers The John Steel Singers entitled Everything's A Thread. Recorded in the group's makeshift studio, the release seeps with their coastal surrounds, featuring sun-kissed melodies and feel-good summer sing-along's in equal measure. The title cut is an energetic excursion into unbridled indie-pop with thrashing guitars and frazzled vocals whereas 'There's A Bird' is a more easy going piece with chords as soft as a sea breeze. 'Never Read Tolstoy' is another example of fuzzy, psyched-out indie whilst the final piece 'MJ's On Fire Again' wraps things up in an upbeat mood with pleasant vocals and deft guitar picks.
