Strawberries
'Strawberries', originally titled Strawberries for Pigs, is the fifth studio album by The Damned. It was released in October 1982 by record label Bronze. 'Strawberries' is arguably the band's strongest album from the early 80s. Side One bristles with classic kinetic pop vis a vis 'Ignite' and 'Generals' while Side Two showcases the band's flair for subtlety as heard in the reflective calm of 'Life Goes On' and boozy psychedelic flavor of 'Under the Floor Again.' This album is chock full of should-have-been monster hits and is a must for any Damned fan with a sweet tooth for top-shelf power pop.
