Greenwich Folk Club Patch
Inspired by Art Nouveau, this original design from Craig is an evocation of Folk music and the counter-culture of the 1960's and 70's. The complex patch design deftly harnesses colour and ornamentation to create a truly immersive effect. It also comes housed in unique 45rpm inspired packaging, complete with the highest quality sleeve and with thick, textured card.
This is the second of Peckham Soul’s ‘London Music Maps,' a series of patches and prints documenting the engaging social history of music in South London. We're focusing on the rich musical heritage of New Cross, Deptford and Greenwich here; showing where David Bowie rehearsed Ziggy Stardust at Deptford Bridge, the location of Kate Bush's debut New Cross gig, Nico's Deptford performance and where the Stones played their early Greenwich gigs. This original graphic design truly illustrates both the unique diversity and the breadth of South East London's engaging music history.
